Even on good nights, the money we collect at the gate for our performances barely covers our expenses for the concerts, and sometimes it doesn’t. Additional donations can help to ensure that there will be more Art Mob concerts in 2018 and beyond.

The Art Mob’s singers are not paid – in fact, they pay dues for the privilege of singing with the group – but pretty much everything else that goes into our concerts entails expenditures. Performance venues charge rent, and for some of them we need to rent chairs. Printing the concert programs costs money, and so does printing and mailing announcement postcards – and maintaining a website, for that matter. We pay our director, too, and you can rest assured that he works hard for the money.
