Nancy Moore Simpson

Nancy Moore Simpson has sung with The Art Mob starting in 2004 (took a hiatus after 2016), and has now returned.

Nancy is from Tennessee and has been singing ever since she can remember—church, school, programs, coffee houses in college, as well as being a music major and singing with the Chattanooga Opera and performing in a summer outdoor drama, “The Smoky Mountain Passion Play,” in Walland, TN.  She was a finalist in the Metropolitan Opera District Auditions before moving to NYC.

Nancy has performed with the New York Christmas Revels, The Blue Hill Troupe, Canterbury Choral Society, The Victorian Strollers, St. Malachy’s Actors’ Chapel choir, international choruses, at churches, entertains at private events and benefits, creates sing-a-long programs, and has performed a one-woman Cabaret show, and other gigs.

Her professional work has included research, development/fundraising, and events planning with several non-profit organizations and educational institutions.  She is an advocate for many causes, creates watercolor paintings/prints and greeting cards, writes, and is a Reiki Master. She plays the piano, ukulele, kazoo, tap dances, and enjoys all kinds of music.

Secret ambitions: Be a Big Band singer, or a Harlette (with Bette Midler), or maybe both!
