Anne Kostick joined the Art Mob in 2017 after many years as its fangirl. Previously she’s sung in Brooklyn groups of various sizes and personalities, including Bella Voce Singers, Brooklyn Community Chorus, Park Slope Singers, and A Singing Idea. She rushes to participate in gigantic public events, such as Choral Convergence (600 voices) or Mostly Mozart (The Public Domain, 1,000 voices).
All this is possible because NYC is a pulsing hub of musical talent yearning to express itself. It’s so exciting, it’s almost too much.
When not singing, Anne works as a writer, editor, audio narrator and producer focusing on children’s educational content. She acts, she knits, her sport is curling. She has always lived in Brooklyn, not just since it became cool.
